Marion Mosely, Chief Executive Officer
Marion (CGC1506517 & CU-C056754) has more than 25 years experience in both heavy construction and mining and is recognized as an expert in the financial management of such projects. Marion also holds construction licenses in Broward and Dade Counties and has a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in accounting from the University of South Carolina. Marion is on the board of directors of the Florida Transportation Builders Association and is a member of the board of directors for Goodwill Industries of South Florida serving Broward and Dade Counties Waldy Polizzi, PresidentWaldy (CGC1512900) is responsible for management of operations and major projects, as well as overseeing services for the SE Florida market and for the company's entire equipment and trucks fleet. Waldy has over 15 years experience in heavy construction, wetlands restoration and equipment management, purchase and sales. He has a BS in Business Administration with a major in economics and a minor in accounting from UNA-FCG of Belo Horizonte, Brazil and has also attended Civil Engineering school of UFMG (http://www.ufmg.br/english/ ), Loyola Architectural Design School and FAU/BCC Accounting certification courses. Robert A. "Skeeter" Parks III, Executive Vice PresidentSkeeter has over 30 years experience in wetlands restoration and is a specialist in minimizing environmental impacts of construction projects. He is skilled in all aspects of construction and mitigation including site development, underground utilities, concrete construction and surveying. He attended Holding Technical Institute, majoring in Civil Engineering. Mark D. Sowards, Vice President and Area ManagerMark is a State of Florida Certified Excavation Contractor. Over the past 25 years Mark has successfully managed numerous private developer site developments, major road construction, and underground utility construction projects. He attended Florida State University and Polk Community College. Josh D. Sowards, E.I, Chief EstimatorJosh D. Sowards, E.I. has over 10 years experience in major road construction, underground utility, and private development. As Westwind's estimator and project engineer he develops and maintains schedules, provides detailed estimates for all types and sizes of projects, and manages subcontractors and vendors throughout all stages of construction. Josh also provides project management & value engineering, and holds the Company's Fire Protection System Contractors Class V license. He has a BS in Construction Engineering & Management from North Carolina State University. Ricky Polizzi, Superintendent and QC ManagerRicky is Westwind's Superintendent and QC Manager for all road jobs. He has over 20 years experience working both in the US and abroad. He has many crucial certifications, including: QC Manager, Earthwork Construction Inspection Levels 1 and 2, Asphalt Paving Levels 1 and 2, Concrete Field Technician Level 1, ACI Concrete Field Technician Grade 1, Storm Water Management Inspector, Advanced Work Zone Traffic Control, Radiation Safety Officer, Nuclear Gauge Safety Training and Hazmat for nuclear gauges. Ricky also holds a civil engineering degree from UFMG, Brazil (http://www.ufmg.br/english/). Linda Hite, ComptrollerLinda came to Westwind over 8 years ago and has over 20 years experience in the accounting "arena". Her duties largely consist of accounting and financial reporting, but are certainly not limited to that. She attended Broward Community College for accounting related courses. Stacy Peterson, Contracts AdministratorStacy is a graduate of Florida State University and has been employed by Westwind Contracting for more than 15 years. Her responsibilities include accounts receivables and payables, management of subcontractor agreements, bid bond requests, purchase orders and notice of liens. Adair Hagar, Human Resources Administrator Adair Hagar has been with Westwind Contracting for three years and holds the position of Human Resource Administrator. Her duties include, but are not limited to, Benefits and Compensation, Workers' Compensation Administration, Corporate Insurance and Safety. Michael R. Anderson, P.E.Michael is the Westwind Staff Engineer responsible for "in-house" design, permitting, cost estimation, and general project management. He is currently licensed by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers as a Professional Engineer under Chapter 471, Florida Statutes. In addition, Michael serves as the Chair for the City of Palm Coast's Planning and Land Development Regulation Board, which is responsible for the creation and implementation of the local land development code. Don Wood Jr., Chief SurveyorDon is a Certified AutoCAD Technician graduate from CCI. He has over 15 years of experience in commercial, residential and mortgage surveying and specializes in Agtek Earthwork 3D for digitizing, analyzing, 3D modeling, managing and documenting dirt. Don is also expert at utilizing GPS Technology, innovative Trimble technology, advanced system design software, machine control for AccuGrade GPS systems, Trimble GPS surveying and grade control systems. |
