Westwind Contracting Announces Additions to its Equipment Fleet
Westwind Contracting proudly announces additions to its equipment fleet, ensuring the mainstay of its fundamental business principle – ownership of equipment allows Westwind to provide more reliable service.

For Westwind, fleet performance is all about reliability, availability, uptime and production. Even during economic downturns, replacement of machines is an operational imperative. To Westwind, superior performance demands recognition that every machine experiences deterioration and obsolescence. In the end, replacement is the only way to start again, revitalize its fleet, and maintain productive capacity. Cost-effective, orderly and constant replacement ensure that the Westwind fleet retains its value as a productive asset that supports the company's operations and enables it to succeed in a competitive market.

Taking in consideration the size and types of jobs for 2010 Westwind purchased 3 new Cat D3K LGP dozers all with cab, ac and equipped with the Cat AccuGrade GPS. The Cat D3K Track-Type dozers deliver superior performance and comfort while reducing operating costs. The large spacious cab provides a comfortable work area.
