Westwind is proud of the part its played in shaping Florida’s roadways. Much of our road construction work has been spearheaded by the folks at the Florida Department of Transportation. We’ve successfully completed road work in four different FDOT districts, and oversaw construction from start to finish. We’ve had a hand in the construction of major highways and state roads, such as SR 207 in Putnam and St. Johns County, SR 520 in Brevard and Orange County, SR 15/US 17 in Clay County, SR 78 and Veteran’s Parkway in Lee County. We most recently replaced a canal off the Florida Turnpike in Sunrise with a 50-inch culvert, and constructed a transit mobility hub off I-595 in Broward County.
