These two adjacent sites located in Pembroke Park, FL are borrow pit reclamation and site development projects contracted by DCT Industrial and the Easton Group. Westwind continues to assist by literally laying the groundwork for this massive project. The sites are approximately 70 and 80 acres, respectively, and are the current and future sites of warehouses and office buildings. Land in South Florida is often scarce and hard to come by, so developers sometimes “make” their own land by refilling old borrow pits with construction debris. This process is also helpful for local construction companies because it offers a free location to dump materials.
